Air conditioning in a car requires a working condenser, which, in turn, requires a fan. The fan accelerates or slows down the heat exchange process. As a result, it determines the occurrence of the change of the coolant from gas to liquid and determines the intensity of the condensation process.
The AC fan is a very simple device. Its main component is the resistor – a small electrical circuit responsible for controlling the operation of the mechanism and its speed. It does that by dosing the amount of the current entering the fan motor. As marginal as it may seem, its failure may effectively disrupt the operation of the car’s AC system.
